二百多年前的中国四川，有个叫做龙家村的地方，有一年村子久旱无雨，村民们便杀死一个无辜的少女来祭天，并把她割成五块，分别埋在五根石柱下面。少女被杀害之前发下毒咒，要龙家村世世代代所有的女子都悲惨地死去......
二十世纪六十年代的中国香港，女大学生阿梅和她的母亲常常为噩梦所扰，同学小熊等人请碟仙算出阿梅会有血光之灾，小熊和阿梅的母亲相继离奇地死去，那个古老的魔咒终于应验了，阿梅身上开始出现血痕，当血痕数目达到五个时她的生命就会结束，为了挽救阿梅，她的男友陪她一起到四川去寻找破咒之法，却上了魔鬼的当，自以为解除了魔咒，却将魔鬼儿子的孽种留在了自己的身体里……
阿梅十月怀胎，诡异不断，最后终于生下了一对双胞胎，其中一个是企图统治世界的魔鬼之子，另一个是神灵派来与魔鬼搏斗的神之子，一场神魔大战已不可避免。
阿梅夫妻双双死亡，两个孩子被人收养，先后有四人因抚养魔之子而蹊跷地死去，神之子被一高僧相救，送往尼泊尔长大。
当若干年后魔之子振宇和神之子振宙长大后重逢时，一场扑朔迷离，惊险玄幻的神魔大战已如强弩之末，一触即发。身份分别为公司总经理和大学教授的魔神二人，面对亲情的考验、爱情的困扰、权力的纷争、欲望的膨胀，演绎了一场交织着痛苦和挣扎，布满了陷进和悬疑，跌宕起伏、险象横生的神对魔、正对邪的较量......
